About
A Special Student is a undergraduate student who receives authorization from the Graduate Coordination Office to take one or more isolated Graduate courses in a given academic term, provided that they are not regularly enrolled in a UNICAMP Graduate course. The requirement for a university degree may be waived at the discretion of the Graduate Coordination.
Interested students must observe the deadlines established in the School Calendar for registration, and if they are unable to complete the activities of a subject, they may request a change of registration, withdrawal or justified abandonment.
A Certificate of Studies is issued by the DAC, based on the results obtained by the student.
Special students who eventually enroll in a regular course can apply to the Graduate Coordination Office to use their credits.
Students who are interested in acquiring a Student ID must request this document from the Academic Board (DAC).
Foreign students must comply with the relevant legislation regarding documents produced abroad and the appropriate consular visa.
Change or Withdrawal of Enrollment
The special student must fill in the change of enrollment form or withdrawal form and hand it in to the DAC office by the deadlines set out in the School Calendar. The form must bear the signature of the Graduate Coordinator.
