The selection process for the admission of new students consists of the requirements for the presentation of an application, the selection process phases (including the analysis of work plans and research projects, interview and written exam) and the weights of the same, the grading system, the schedule, a list of the current topics of interest to the PPG-PCT and DPCT for research, teaching and guidance and the bibliographic references to guide the candidates on taking the content and interpretation exam (proficiency in a foreign language is also required).
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY
The minimum and maximum lengths of the Master´s Course are 12 and 30 months respectively.
In order to obtain a Master´s Degree in Science and Technology Policy the student needs to complete a total of 25 course credits and pass the dissertation.
Specific regulations for the Graduate Programme in Science and Technology Policy
The Graduate Programme in Science and Technology Policy (PPG-PCT) places an interdisciplinary focus on studies in Science, Technology and Innovation (CT&I). Hence, it consists of a number of disciplinary approaches on the generation and use of knowledge, economic and social appropriation of knowledge, economic and social restraints and implications of this process.
